Flexbox
In this tutorial on the Mozilla Developer website I learnt how to create a flexbox and flexitems. Flexbox is a one-dimensional layout method for arranging items in rows or columns. This is a neat great way to make columns and rows on a webpage.
Using a flexbox helps follow the principles of design.
Alignment:using flexboxes keeps the items aligned really nicely. While additionally being able to have control on where each flexitem goes.
Proximity: the nature of the flexboxes and how they work makes it very easy to keep the proximity of each flexitem evenly spaced and spaced to the necassary space for the design aspect.
Repitition: using flexboxes is a very easy way to keep repitition because it's very easy to stay consoistant with them and repetitively use flexitems one after another.
Contrast: contrast can be used in flexboxes by making a flexitem larger or smaller than the next one.
